Sunday Stampers - Week 21 - Ebony and Ivory

Here is my Sunday Stampers effort for this week. Yes I know I even got it in before the next challenge has been set. I used one of the large chipboard tags from The Artistic Stamper along and stamped the autumn leaves flurishes with black stazon. The butterfly is a Linda Luckin design from The Artistic Stamper and I used black glitter on the outline to give it a velvety look.

Butterfly Card

This is a stamp I got last week and its a fab stamp by Linda Luckin as is the peacock feather I used for the background. The stamps are available from the Artistic Stamper in 2 diffrent sizes and they are fab so everyone should buy these stamps :)

The peacock feather is stamped in versamark and then I brushed some mica powders over the top in gold. The Butterfly was embossed in gold then I've used Irridescent H2Os in Gold and red to colour the butterfly in. I have added a little old gold glitter and a peel off best wishes to finish it off.

Orange Fat Book Page

Ok I have made this hoping that Hels cheeky monkey that she is will NOT at some point make the theme for Sunday Stampers orange.

Hopefully this will demonstrate I can use the colour orange(yuck) successfully and she won't beat me round the head and put it as a challenge one week, pretty please Hels :)

Arte y pico Award

Well this is an award I received from the lovely Dawn in April and I've just got round to posting it so sorry for the wait
This award was originally designed by Eseya at Arte y pico so please display the image in your post.
Now I need to pick five! (like thats enough lol) of your favorite BLOG SITES that you think earned this award based on their creativity, design, interesting material, and contribution to the blogging community. List the names of the site owners on your blog with a links to their blogs.
Leave a comment on one of their posts to let them know of the award.
Each winner has to show the award, and put the name of the person who gave it to them, with a link to their blog too.
The five I have chosen have inspired me with their blogs and I love checking out their latest crafty creations when I get a moment are: Andrea, Hels, Lesley, Linda E and Nicky.

Thankyou guys for your fab works of art and now its over to you :)

Inspiration Wall

OK this post has been building for a while and finally I have got my butt in gear to take a picture.

I can't take credit for all the work in this picture and I'm sure some of the poeple that read this will recognise some of work involved. Unfortunately my camera can't take a picture of the whole wall which is crammed with fat book pages, tags and ATCs and is still growing.

If I'm stuck this is my newest tool to help get rid of crafters block.

When I finally got my own house this year I decided I wouldn't stick my swap in boxes so this is how the idea came about. Thankyou everyone who I have swapped with so far and all those to come you do help me more than you realise.

Collectormania

OK now some of you may know I popped to Milton Keyenes for Collectormania this weekend.

It was soooooooooo busy on Sunday because John Barrowman and some of Team Torchwood were signing Sunday only. Kai Owen who plays Rhys in Torchwood as well as David Prowse AKA Darthvader were signing that day as well as Eve Miles who plays Gwen from Torchwood and Brain Cant from Playschool.

There were also some more familiar faces that I'm sure everyone will recognise :)

Critters Envelope and Insert

I wanted to have some fun with this one after thinking about it so I borrowed a stamp from my mate Mel.

Sunday Stampers - Week 12 Family

Ok I found this a little difficult just because of the stamps I have but I am luck enough to have a fab friend Mel who has a diffrent style to mine so I used one of hers.
I like it cuase its cute plus I love all the animals too :)

Sunday Stampers - Week 11 -Ticket to Ride

Finally I know its been a long time coming. I don't have a ton of travel stamps so I went with something different that I thought might make you smile :)

"I@m the kind or person who sees things with my eyes"

OK this is me being a bit micheviouse but basically it is because the other half quoted the above to me while having a conversation about learning to cook something. I have taken the mickey ever since. Sorry Babes! but it has to be done :)

As a result I was playing with my new stamps last night and this is what I came up with :)

I've Been Tagged!

Well I've been tagged by my friend Rachel and this means I have to think of seven things about me and share them with you, If I overshare please forgive me, we'll blame it on Rachel :0p

1. I'm terrible for keeping to dates. Give me a time and I'll be early but boy I'm so bad with dates I need like 5 reminders just to get my butt in gear.

2. My most favorite place in the world is Egypt. I went with my mum on a Nile Cruise and went to Cairo and everything and I loved it. I still haven't made my scrapbook but I love looking at the photos, I have so many great memories.

3. I love rubber stamping. Have only been stamping about 2/3 years I suppose but this past year have been introduced to so many different techniques using distress inks, alcohol inks -im addicted -thanks Hels.

4. I have a cat called Bobby (Roberta), the owners agreed to leave her behind when we bought our house.

5. I have a wood lather so I can make my own lace bobbins but I haven't found anywhere to put it yet so it's still at my mums.

6. My favorite superheroes are Spiderman and Venom I have several signed comics.

7. Am also a bigggggggggggggg Doctor Who Fan from way back and don't miss an episode and regularly watch the re runs of the old and new series even if I've watched them several times already - they help me craft :)

So now I need to tag 5 other people :)

Sunday Stampers - Week 10 - Green

OK I don't do green usually its not my type of colour and is second only to Orange ( Thats not a hint for a future challenge by the way Hels) :)

Since this is a frog though it did make it a little bit easier and Burt is cute. The dream stamp is from Clevercut, Burt used to be licesnces to Creative Expression but not sure if this is till the case and the inks are from Ranger the Nick Bantock ones.
