Free Crochet Patterns

So now I have a new obsession I thought it would be helpful to give you a list of sites that offer free Crochet Patterns as I know we all like freebies:

http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php
If there is one place to go to for free patterns this is it. A fantastic site with tons of patterns.

Baby Jumper

So this is a Basket Weave Pattern. It was really challenging and I learned allot from this one. I'd never seen Rib in crochet before but it's a really lovely warm jumper and cute too. This is for a year old so I'm gradually working my way up :)

My First Wearable

So here we are my first wearable. I started off with something small so at least if it went wrong I wouldn't be so disappointed. This is a free pattern from a lady called Heather and you can get is here. I did a shell edge just because I'm not too good at some of the stitches as yet.

No Stopping me now

Well before you know it my lovely mother in law got me a book for christmas and guess what I was doing on christmas day :0) The result was this fabby little bag and I was well away to making things.

Crochet for Beginners

So I have been AWOL for far too long I know but I have been working I promise.

About 18 months ago my bestest bud Mel showed me how to crochet starting off with "Granny Squares" so I could make a blanket Each square is about 5" and the blanket is still growing so excuse the letting it all hang out picture. It was a great starting point and there is lots more on the way.
