This is a new challenge for me but what a wonderful Image to work with. The image is a digistamp that has been created a lovely lady called Faith. I coloured the puppys using my new Inktense pencils, which I'm still getting used to but I am gradually getting better :)
Hi Everyone I have just joined a new challenge that uses digi stamps. I need something to get me back to cardmaking, but I promise there will be messy stuff too :)
I know I haven't been around for agessssssssssssssssssssssssssss so my New Year Resolution is that I will blog at least once a month now I have a camera that works :)
Take care everyone and see you soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I have been very naughty and not kept up with my blogging so I thought I better get my butt in gear with a card I took ages to make, Sorry Kirsty.
I love tag cards but when I try to cover them they never sit right so for this one I used Jump Rings to hold it together. It fits in with the Stampotique stamps perfectly and I really like the effect i got on the foil card by scratching it with sandpaper :)
Ok I've been working on this for a little while now and finally here it is.
This started out life as a mini shape sorter from Poundland and I thought it would look good as a tea light holder. The only problem was I wasn't happy using a normal tea light because of it being made of wood. So enter and electric tea light candle :)
OK so I know I did something with orange again! Well it was actually a redbrick distress pas with a yellow Nick Bantock pad but it turned out really nice didn't it :) Stamps from SSPG.
OK Did I happen to mention I like dragonflys and butterflys? Well this is another stag using the SSPGs free joing gift. I love the dragonfly stamp for the background and I used it as a base for my main dragonfly.
Everything bar the little nets it stamped in black Stayzon including the wings/petals on to fantasy film. The purple background was made using a baby wipe and a Nick Bantock Ink Pad then I stamped the little net in purple then the dragonfly in black.
Ok this is my first project using some of my new stamps from "The Stamping, Scrapbooking and Papercraft Guild". The petals of the flowers are actually dragon fly wings but they make a fab flower. I used mica powders from The Artisitc Stamper and they show up great on Black Card and a better price than cosmic shimmer too.
I love this card cause Spiderman is my favorite superhero. I stamped the image twice in Stazon and he is coloured with Marveys. The image is decoupaged just a little from his waist to bring him out a little :) The background was made using the same stamp with versamark then chalked in silver.
I love this card mostly because of the stamp but the paper goes so well with the colours too. The Image of the robot is a stamp from do crafts ans is stamped with black stazon and then coloured with shimmer paints. The backing paper is from a Basic Grey 6 by 6 pas.
I wanted to do something fun so I had a play around :) The friends stamp is from Autumn Leaves and the others I don't know because I borrowed them. The paper is something I made while playing with some drawing inks and acetate :)
Here is my Sunday Stampers effort for this week. Yes I know I even got it in before the next challenge has been set. I used one of the large chipboard tags from The Artistic Stamper along and stamped the autumn leaves flurishes with black stazon. The butterfly is a Linda Luckin design from The Artistic Stamper and I used black glitter on the outline to give it a velvety look.
I won some blog candy woohoo from the lovely Roni who recently celebrated 6 months of blogging. Please stop by as Roni has some fabby techniques to share and her work is stunning, love the posh sandpaper :)
Here is the pic of my lovely goody bag. I am so chuffed I got a queens dresser drawer stamp and the ickle square stamps are really cool and the papers are fab. Am going to have a play tomorrow and then I'll pop the results of my efforts on here :)
This is a stamp I got last week and its a fab stamp by Linda Luckin as is the peacock feather I used for the background. The stamps are available from the Artistic Stamper in 2 diffrent sizes and they are fab so everyone should buy these stamps :)
The peacock feather is stamped in versamark and then I brushed some mica powders over the top in gold. The Butterfly was embossed in gold then I've used Irridescent H2Os in Gold and red to colour the butterfly in. I have added a little old gold glitter and a peel off best wishes to finish it off.
